How to download videos from youtube

Most of us have used youtube to watch videos. It is a great site to watch videos online. However youtube does not provide any way to download videos. There are some softwares which downloads videos from youtube. fastytd is also a software to download videos from youtube.
You can download fastytd from www.fastytd.com.

It is very easy to use fastytd. Just copy the url of the video that you want to download and paste it in the textbox in fastytd. then click on download button to start downloading of video. Video may have high resolution,Full HD (hd1080) ,HD(hd720) , Large , Medium,small qualities available for download. You can specify the quality of video to download from the settings dialog. If the selected quality is not available for that video then fastytd will show a dialog listing all the available qualities for that video. or you can select ‘Best Available’ in settings dialog to always download best available quality of the video.

You can pause,resume or stop the currently downloading videos. Fastytd maintains the state of the currently downloading videos even if you have you have closed the application. Next time when you will open the application you will see the list of all the videos. Now if you resume a paused video then it will start downloading the video from where it was paused. This saves the bandwidth.

In settings dialog download location can be specified. If you use a proxy to connect to internet then you can specify proxy settings in settings download.

Fastytd also supports searching videos from multiple sites directly from the application.

Fastytd also supports downloading videos from Bing , Facebook , Dailymotion , Metacafe and Vimeo besides youtube.
